93 POINTS 2005 TRE FANCIULLI, Wine Enthusiast
November 2008

2005 Columbia Valley Cuvee: Among Wine Spectator Insider Editors' Most Exciting New WinesApril 2008

91 points, Robert Parker's (Wine Advocate)
"Supple and generous with its plump, mocha-accented cassis, plum anad spice flavors.  Inviting for its elegant balance and persists impressively against polished tannins, lingering well on the elegant finish.  Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec."

91 points: 2004 JM Cellars Syrah (Wine Advocate #172, Aug., 2007)
The 2004 Syrah offers up aromas of Asian spice, grilled meat, espresso roast, and blueberry. There are layers of spicy blue fruits, concentrated flavors, and a 45+ second finish. Drink this hedonistic Syrah through 2017.

90 points: 2004 JM Cellars Tre Fanciulli (Wine Advocate #172, Aug., 2007)
The 2004 Tre Fanciulli is 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 14% Syrah aged for 1 year in 70% new French oak. Dark ruby-colored, it has an expressive nose of pain grille, spice box, black currants, and blueberry. This leads to a full-bodied, spicy, layered wine with excellent concentration and a long finish. It should evolve for several years and drink well through 2022.

90+ points: 2004 JM Cellars Columbia Valley Cuvee (Wine Advocate #172, Aug., 2007)
The 2004 Columbia Valley Cuvee is purple-colored with aromas of cedar, spice box, clove, cranberry, cassis, and black currants. This is followed by a supple-textured wine with sweet fruit, a sense of elegance, and enough structure to evolve for 3-4 years. Drink this Bordeaux look-alike through 2024.

91 points: 2006 JM Cellars Viognier (Wine Advocate #172, Aug., 2007)
The 2006 Viognier has a fragrant bouquet of melons, peach, and exotic tropicals. The wine has a plush texture, medium-body, excellent depth, good acidity, and a long, pure finish. Drink it over the next 12-18 months.

90 points: 2006 JM Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, Klipsun Vineyard (Wine Advocate #172, Aug., 2007)
The 2006 Sauvignon Blanc “Klipsun Vineyard” (with 10% Semillon) offers a lovely perfume of fresh herbs, spring flowers, melon, and lemon-lime. This leads to a medium-bodied wine with ripe flavors, crisp acidity, and excellent length. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.

2005 Bramble Bump Red: Best Bordeaux Blend under $20.00, Seattle MagazineMarch 2008

"John and Peggy Bigelow's winery is lociated on Bramble Bump, a berry-covered hill in Woodinville.  The name fits, as the wine--a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec-- is full of dark berry fruit, creating a luscious, full-bodied red for everyday drinking with a steak or Wagyu beef burger.  These wines often sell out, so if you can't find this gem, look for their 2006 release at your local wine shop"
