Bom dia JM Family,

What a year it’s been so far. The vineyard is looking beautiful – lots of sunshine, just the right amount of heat, and the vines are happy. I feel the anticipation of another great harvest.

We’ve also had some incredible travels that stirred up fresh ideas and inspiration. Tommy and I spent time in Portugal, tasting and learning from some of the best port makers in the world. A few weeks later, Peggy, Tommy, JV (Tommy's wife), and I explored the hills of Tuscany – the wines, the people, the food… it was unforgettable. Let’s just say there may be some Vermentino in your future!

This harvest will be my 28th vintage, and we’ll be making our wines in Walla Walla – the first time since 2000. I’m especially excited to be working with my winemaking family again, Tommy and Amy. It has been a fantastic journey, and I am looking forward to making wine for the rest of my life. Thank you for being a part of the wine club. I am looking forward to sharing our newly released wines with those of you who can make it out for the release weekend. If you can’t make it out, I am going to host an Instagram Live tasting of the released wines and we would love to have you join us.
