Happy New Year everyone,

Peggy and I hope your 2026 is off to a great start! We have so much to be thankful for in our lives. Our grandson turns two this month, we’re celebrating Chateau Ste. Michelle returning to Washington family ownership after over 50 years, and JM Cellars is thriving heading into this new year, in large part thanks to you. Your support means the world to us.

Over the course of the year, we’ll be releasing a blend of longtime favorites and fresh new wines, from classics like Boushey Syrah and Tre Fanciulli to first-time bottlings such as Chenin Blanc and Vermentino. This year also marks the introduction of a couple of new vineyard partners, offering new expressions that expand and evolve the JM portfolio – we can't wait to share them with you!

As we head into April, we’ll be extending our open hours at both Bramble Bump and Maltby. We hope you’ve enjoyed spending time at The Bump as part of the wine club experience. It’s a special place for us, and we love sharing it with you.

I also want to acknowledge a recently released wine that means a great deal to our family. The Loyal was created in tribute to our dog, Billy, a familiar presence to many of you over the years as he greeted guests, wandered the grounds, and inevitably found his way to a treat or two. Hearing your Billy stories has reminded us that this wine is more than a tribute to Billy alone. It is also a tribute to the wine club members who have shown such warmth, support, and loyalty to our family and our wines. This wine is our way of honoring you for being part of our community and for the memories we’ve shared.

As always, thank you for being part of the JM Cellars family. I’m looking forward to sharing these wines with you, and even more to spending time together at our February release party.

Much love,
John
